This Als 49 Chevy fastback. We started with a running rod that he brought to us. We ended up going quite a bit further than it was intended but what else is new? Modified the stock frame by adding a Chubby chassis Ifs kit. The rear got a pair of custom Art Morrison frame rails narrowed 3" per side. There is a 9" ford rear end with 3.25 gears and a posi located by a custom trianular 4-link and coil-overs. Four wheel disc brakes slow it down. The transmission is a Mike's built 700r4 with a 2500 stall converter. The engine is a nice little 350 with a billet Blower shop blower. A custom 2.5" exhaust was fabbed for the car for a nice sound. The interior was oufitted with Vintage-Air, Autometer Gauges, and Lokar shifter. The wiring is a Painless wiring kit. The paint and body was handled by Devon at Cal Custom. The interior was stitched up by Jose at Jb custom interiors. The car rides on old school 15" American racing wheels. This car rides and drives like a dream.. Plenty of power and very well manored.
